What is your Build and Tune Service?

We Can Build and Tune your Kit for you!
Build & Tune Service available from Drum Stop For Just a small charge, you can get your Drum Kit Built & Tuned before it Gets Delivered. Take the hassle out of Buying your Drum Kit.  If you are unsure of how to build it, don't have enough time, or it's a present then let us do the hard work for you. Many Drum Kits arrive dis-assembled like Russian Dolls in Boxes.  This means that you have to spend time building each drum by placing the heads on and tightening all the lugs up.  This has to be done on all of the drums and each drum has two heads.  You also then have to spend time tuning the kit before you can play it.  By choosing our Build and Tune Service we Build all the Drums up and put on the Drum Heads for you as well as giving it a basic tune up, so you are ready to play when it arrives.  All you have to do is then unpack and place the drums together wherever you want to play them and just extend the legs and tighten up the pieces of hardware.  Obviously the stands themselves just need opening up and placing where you need them as we can't send built stands by courier as they would just get damaged.  Email us or call for more information on 0114 247 2200.  Some Kits can't benefit from the Build and Tune, so give us a call or look out for the option in the Products themselves when choosing to Buy the kit.

Drum Stop Promise to Match or Beat any Price offered by any other UK Retailer whenever possible.
We think that our Prices are some of the most competitive out there, but it is sometimes easy to miss a Price that may be higher on our site than elsewhere.  We do try to make sure the website is constantly updated and the prices are always the best, but sometimes items do go un-noticed.
We just need to know the name of the shop, the website address of the item being price matched, the item description as well as the shipping costs of the store being price matched and of course the actual price of the item. It is also important to know if the item is in stock with the other store, as some stores offer lower prices on items that may be temporarily unavailable or from old catalogues. Requests for Price Match can be made either in Person at our Store, By Telephone on 0114 247 2200 or by emailing sales@drum-stop.co.uk.  It would help greatly if you could give the sales team all of the above information when you contact us in order for us to get your item "PRICE MATCHED" as soon as possible.
We can't always guarantee a Price Match, but do assure you that we will do all we can to get you the Best Price on Drum Kits, Cymbals and Anything else that we sell.

Availability of Stock

This website is not 100% linked to stock-availability, for example there are many sizes, colours and configurations available for the majority of the items listed on this website especially Drum Kits. Although some items may not always be in stock and available for Next Day Delivery, we are able to supply all of the items listed. Some Items have Delivery Timescales quoted in their descriptions, however for those without specific Delivery Timescales quoted, then please consider the following and note these are our target timescales and whilst every effort is made to maintain these sometimes there may be reasons beyond our control which can affect these delivery times, you will be advised if this is the case.
If the Item is in Stock:
Your Item will be packaged and despatched within 1 - 2 Days. Larger Items will be Sent by Courier on a next day delivery service and will need to be signed for on receipt and smaller items will be sent First Class with Royal Mail. Although Royal Mail First Class is usually a Next Day Delivery Service, they quote a delivery timescale of 1 - 3 Days from Date of Posting.
If the Item is Out of Stock:
If the item is out of stock, it will usually be delivered within 5 - 10 Days. If this delivery timescale is going to be longer than 10 - 14 days, we will let you know in advance. This is sometimes the case if our Supplier is out of stock or the item is a "Custom Order".

Why do We Charge Shipping Costs and How Much is it?

We Like to make sure that our prices for the products we offer are as competitive as possible. The price you see is the price of the Item you are looking at. Most Items have Shipping Costs attached to them which will be shown seperately when you buy the item, as we think it is important that the price does not reflect an inflated price to Cover the Costs of "FREE SHIPPING". We want to be as honest as possible and that is why we believe that adding a shipping cost per item is the best way to do this. This Shipping Cost also ensures that your products are insured during transit and all courier despatched items are trackable online. Where an item or a Multiple Purchase exceeds the value of £150, we have added FREE SHIPPING to that delivery. This is by no means a way to "Hide" an inflated price, but as a goodwill gesture for your high value purchase with Drum Stop. These orders will also be Insured during transit "FREE OF CHARGE" at Drum Stop's Cost if sent by Courier. They will also be trackable online as normal. The following costs are applied at the checkout:
UK (Excludes Scottish Highlands/Islands, Channel Islands, Northern/Southern Ireland)
£4.00 - Upto 2kg (sticks, books, small spares etc.)
£7.00 - Upto 30kg (hardware, cymbals, pedals, stools etc.)
£12.00 - Upto 60kg (some small drum kits, multiple pieces of hardware etc.)
£18.00 - Upto 90kg (most drum kits come under this bracket, unless over £150, then free shipping applies)
FREE if Order Value Exceeds £150.

Scottish Highlands/Islands, Channel Islands, Northern/Southern Ireland
This section covers the Scottish Highlands/Islands and Channel Islands as well as Northern and Southern Ireland. It does also cover some areas of Scotland that may not be strictly classed as highlands, but our Courier Service class them as more difficult areas to reach when making deliveries. Therefore our Shopping cart system has to put them in a separate section to add the additional costs that our couriers charge to ship to these places. So in addition to the usual Scottish Highlands and Islands, shipping to the places with the following postcodes are also liable to the higher shipping costs: HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27, KA28, KW15-17, PA20, PA34, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3, FK17-99, G83, IV1-28, IV33-39, KW ALL, PA21-33, PA35-40, PH18-26, PH30-42,
£4.50 - Upto 2kg (sticks, books, small spares etc.)
£7.20 - Upto 4kg (small clamps, larger spares etc.)
£10.00 - Upto 6kg (some stands, and tom clamps / arms etc.)
£12.00 - Upto 8kg

£15.00 - Upto 20kg
£21.00 - Upto 30kg
£40.00 - Upto 60kg
£60.00 - Upto 90kg

We will refund your payment excluding the original shipping fee. Please email or call us us with your intention to cancel/return to sales@drum-stop.co.uk or tel: 0114 247 2200 so we can arrange for the refund to be processed when the item is returned.

Your product must be complete, unused and in 'as new' condition (eg if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done it without marking the product in anyway). It should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories. Pre-recorded DVDs must be sealed. Any 'Free Gifts' received with the product must also be returned.

Deposits taken to "Special Order" items are also non refundable, this includes any item that you have ordered that is not usually a stock item. You will be advised if the item is a "Special Order Item" when ordering and given a delivery timescale which is as accurate as possible. We can not guarantee this delivery time as it is given to us by the manufacturer and can only estimate at the time of ordering the assumed delivery date of the items ordered. However, this is usually fairly accurate.

Return of Faulty Goods

The following are guidelines. Wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances. Most goods (except consumables like sticks and heads) are guaranteed by the Manufacturer against faulty materials or workmanship for twelve months. While it is at the manufacturer's discretion, we will act as their agents to seek a repair or replacement. Please phone us on 0114 247 2200 or return the product to our store if this is the case.

To qualify for a refund or exchange, the product must be:-

    * in otherwise 'as new' condition;
    * complete with any accessories and free gifts offered with it (and if possible, the original box and packaging).
    * Accompanied by proof of purchase.

The guarantee does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear, nor consumable items (eg drum-sticks, heads, cymbals, etc) unless there is clear evidence of manufacturing fault.

Recycling Electrical Products at Drum Stop (WEE regulations)

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

• Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

• Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

From now on all new electrical products that can be recycled will carry the 'crossed out wheelie bin' to help you remember to recycle them.
For more information on recycling and how to minimise your environmental impact click here
