We have received some of the new 2009 stock launched from this year’s NAMM show in California.

First to hit are 2 kits from Mapex, The Meridian Birch (now taken over the discontinued M-Birch series) This kit is a 6 piece kit consisting of a 22x18 bass drum (un-drilled), 10 x 7 and 12 x 8 rack toms, 14 x 12 and 16 x 14 floor toms and a 14 x 5.5 matching snare drum in a new Burgundy Sparkle Delmar Wrap, included is the all new 700 series hardware with the cymbal stands featuring a new quick release ‘Accu-Lock’ system Read more...

New Truth Stuff Landed!

Today we received another delivery from the guys over at Truth Custom drums.

This time we received some beautiful kits and snares, the first kit is a stunning looking 3 piece in Blood Red satin stain, the is a 22 x 18 kick, 12 x 7 rack tom and a 16 x 14 floor tom with chrome hardware and 50% offset lugs, also check out the positions of the port holes on each drum. Kit 2 is another cool looking kit, it’s a 22 x 19 kick, 12 x 7 rack tom, and a 15 x 13 floor tom, in a white wash satin stain with satin look chrome hardware, also featuring the Ayotte style bass drum spurs. Drum-Stop New Truth Delivery In & Beat 2008!

We recently took part in the Drummers Alliance Beat 2008 event at the Sheffield Carling Academy, We’d like to thank everyone who came along to see us and have a chat about all of our products we had on show, including Truth Custom Drums.

We have recently had another shipment from the guys over at Truth including a load of snares and some customer orders for kits and snares.
A favourite of mine has to be the snare made for Matt Greiner of the band August Burns Red, this snare seriously needs checking out, it is AMAZING!!!! Read More...

Drum-Stop - New Stuff In!

Firstly we would like to thanks each and everyone of you who joined us for our grand opening launch party on the August Bank Holiday Saturday, we really appreciate your support and hope to continue doing business with you in the future.

The day started with the team arriving at the shop at just before 8am to make sure everything was in place and prepare all the free nibbles and drinks,  Before we knew it, it was 10 o’ clock and time to open the doors to a queue of eager customers. Everyone through the door left with a few goodies as a token of our appreciation for their custom.
First thing everyone signed up for our free prize draw for a chance to win some awesome prizes such as a Yamaha Oak Custom kit, a cymbal of their choice off of our cymbal wall, a snare drum, snare stand, sticks, practise pads, and a load of free drum lessons with our in house drum and percussion teacher, Matt. Drum-Stop Move News & More!

As I’m sure most of you have heard, we are moving out of Chesterfield to a much bigger and better store this summer in Sheffield, Just 5 minutes away from the crystal peaks shopping centre. The new store will have lots more stock, a few more different lines and just a generally upgraded showroom for you to come and feel comfortable in, with a shopping precinct and restaurants close by. New Items in at Drum-Stop!

New in this week is from the Meinl Percussion range is the ‘foot cabassa’ this is a must for all, when we first heard about this I must admit I was unsure about the idea, but when it landed I had to have one!! You can keep a cabassa rhythm going while you are playing kit or congas, you can switch it to either play a double stroke or a single stroke with a simple switch.
