Zildjian CymbalsMeinl CymbalsPaiste CymbalsCymbal Packs and Sets

Zildjian, Meinl and Paiste Cymbal Ranges includes Crashes, Rides, Hi-hats and Cymbal Sets.

We have a large range of cymbals available at Drum Stop from individual cymbals and special purchases through to box sets and cymbal packs.  These cover Basic Brass Cymbals such as the Paiste 101 Range, upto the Sheet Metal Cymbals such as the Zildjian ZBT and ZXT, Meinl MCS and Classics, and the Paiste PST3 and PST5 Ranges.   After this the Cymbals are Cast Cymbals which are the Meinl MB20, and Byzance, the Zildjian Z, A and K Customs, and the Paiste 2002 and Signature ranges.  These Cast Bronze cymbals are individually poured and cast from raw molten metal, which makes them more expensive than sheet metal cymbals which are cut from preformed metal with uniform thickness because the process of manufacturing is more lenthy and in depth.  In contrast the Cast Cymbals Have rich, full bodied sounds with greater projection, clarity and durability than any other cymbals, where as the Sheet Metal Cymbals have a Faster response, looser sounds and quick decay.  They are also affordably priced and are an ideal first choice of cymbal.  We also offer a full range of cymbal packs from starter cymbals through to more advanced box sets.  The benefit of buying a box set is purely price.  If you were to add the price of the cymbals individually you would almost always pay more.  So if you are after a complete set up in one range, then we suggest looking at box sets rather than buying individually.  You can always add pieces to the box sets such as an extra crash cymbal or an extra china cymbal and sometimes box sets come with free bags.  We can’t always stock every cymbal in the store as there are so many different ranges and available options.  It is always worth taking some of your current cymbals with you when buying a new cymbal to hear which sounds compliment it best.  We always say use your ears and not your eyes!!  It is much easier to pick a cymbal this way.  Sometimes the Cymbals you choose after listening to them may not be the most expensive and well known but will make your Cymbal set up sound perfect.  Just remember that when choosing between the brands.  Image is not everything, sound is!
