About Drum Stop, Our Drum Shop and Online Store, How it Started....

Drum-Stop first opened its doors in August 2005 on Chatsworth Road in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. This store was a huge stepping stone, helping us to achieve what we have to this day, becoming one of the biggest Drum and Percussion specialist shops in the UK.
After 3 years of growing every month the time came to make the move to bigger premises, as we physically couldn't fit anything else in!

In August 2008 the opportunity arose to move into a bigger place in South Yorkshire near Crystal Peaks shopping centre in Sheffield. We believe it is still relatively local to the first store staying loyal to our existing customers and also to reach the drummers and percussionists from the Sheffield area. For a big city with a massive Music Scene we became to realise Sheffield had no dedicated Drum Specialist so there really was no question in the matter.

We pride ourselves in keeping the leading brands and latest products in stock at all times for you to come and see and try out. The best customer service and after-sale service comes as standard as far as we are concerned. We go every length to make sure you get everything you need and to keep in touch with you to make sure everything is running the way you want it to.
