Snare Drum Stands with Adjustable Base and Basket Tilters from Mapex, Tama, Pearl, Big Dog and DW

Drum Stop offer snare stands from a number of manufacturers to cover all choices.  We Have the small lightweight options which include the Pearl S-70W, the Mapex S320A and the Tama HS70W.  These are slightly less thicker than the next level up and therefore are easy to store and carry and are suitable both for entry level or travelling drummers and are excellent value for money.  Again the mid level Snare stands are much like the Cymbal Stands and the Hi-hat stands.  They tend to be the same Snare stands that come with the Mid-level Drum Kit Packages such as the Mapex M Birch, the Tama Superstar or the Pearl Export.  These are the Mapex S550A, the Pearl S-800W and the Tama HS70WN.  All are very good stands, well built, hardy and double braced.  The Top end Snare stands include the Pearl S2000, which is from the Pearl Advanced Hardware range.  Features of this snare stand include adjustable arms to accept a snare drum from 10” up to 16” diameter, The Gyrolock Tilter which allows the snare to be positioned exactly where you want it using simultaneous front/back and left/right angling.  The Push Button spikes are also helpful for easy transition between spikes and rubber feet when touring for a slip proof performance.  Things to look out for are Uniball Tilters, Slip proof Rubber Feet and Adjustable Heighteners.   The Tama Air-ride Snare Stand allows the snare drum to be mounted similar to the Tama Starcast Mounting System where the Snare is actually mounted using the top rim rather than sitting in a basket as such, as on most standard snare stands.  This allows freedom of natural movement whilst playing.
