DTX950K comes complete with a selection of over 50 pre-set kit, all the onboard sounds can also be adapted and easily stored to one of the 50 user kits and over 40 onboard songs of all styles are on offer which can also be further adapted and stored as user sets.
Coming complete with Cubase AI5 the new DTX950 can be linked directly to your computer and via USB can also control Cubase directly from the module. The new DTX950 module is also capable of importing and layering samples using optional memory.
With Yamaha having some of the best sounding high end acoustic kits, they have sampled them to provide the user access to these kits without having to purchase one of each.
The sampling function (usable with the optional DIMM) allows the user to add any individual sound or sequence to the unit. These sound/sequences can be edited on the module and assigned to any pad.
These things and more make this a very interesting kit and with the new feel pads, it should be as good to play as an acoustic.
