Finish:
Aaron hand picked a custom flat black with a flat orange center stripe painted finish for this series.

Shells:
Aaron chose to beef up the shells to 7 ply full maple. He wanted to increase the ply for better projection. Maple wood was chosen for its tone and its reputation for being the best wood for live/recorded drum sounds. Truth’s custom double 45° bearing edge with the extra finishing touches was used to achieve that true Truth drum sound.

Sizes
24×16 Bass, 16×14 Floor, 13×8 Tom , 14×7 Snare .
For the kick drum Aaron went for a short 16” depth for the extra punch, a shorter 14” depth floor tom for quick decay, and a 8” deep rack tom for solid tone with quick response. The snare is set for 7” deep. This was done so the snare could be versatile. By tightening the head you can get a good solid crack or if you lowed the tension you could get a good mix of body and warmth.

Hardware:
Aaron opted to use the same solid brass tube lug that is standard on our custom kits for its high strength and low mass. The toms are equipped with our preferred 2.3 triple flanged hoops, but added diecast hoops for the snare. Diecast hoops were chosen for the heavy hitters that want that tight crack and projection you get by using these hoops on a snare.

Kit also includes:
-Three 10.5 mil floor tom legs
-RIMS mount suspension system for rack tom with l-rod uni-ball tom attachment (used to mount the rack tom to your existing cymbal stand).
-Drum key
-Full set of drum heads
