Drum-Stop Site Revamp

The website has just finished undergoing a huge revamp, but all will not be so clear to you the viewer! We've just spent the last month heavily optimising the website to help make it better for you guys as well as add on some little extras.

One feature to mention that may benefit you the most is the newly added search feature which you can find in the top left corner of each page. Simply hit in what you're looking for and you shall be presented with the results. It's a brand new feature added onto the site so we'll still be slightly tweaking it for a few weeks but hopefully it does the job as needed until running 100%!

Drum Information Icons. You'll now see 3 icons sat inside the information box of all Drum Kits featured on the site. This is to help browsing faster for you. Now when you're looking for a drum kit, these icons will tell you how many shells are included with that kit, if it comes with cymbals or not, and if it includes hardware or not. Before, the user would have to go inside the page to get this information, but now you can save time by checking the icons as you scroll down the list! Expect more icons popping up in other areas to help enhance each section in the future!

Product pages are now much tidier and contain all the information you could ask for in as much detail as we can supply!

Flash is gone.... well mostly! Pretty much the only complaint we ever get regarding the website would be the Flash we use. We understand that not everyone likes to use the plugin so we've now made all navigation web based. The only flash now used is the highlights banner that is feature underneath the main navigation and the help videos, but dont worry, if you dont have flash installed you'll be greeted by a nice Drum-Stop banner, keeping the website looking good, and the help videos can be download in Quicktime!

Lastly, the Advice/FAQ Section has had a facelift making it much more accessible. It's been split up making it much more easier to navigate and we hope this section now fully helps provide you with any information or help you're seeking.

With all this work done, we're still checking through every page to make sure it's all working correctly. If you do spot any errors, please feel free to let us know and we'll amend it asap to keep the place nice and tidy! Email any comments/corrections to admin@drum-stop.co.uk.
