Made
from premium finish birch ply and constructed with the grain running vertical
instead of horizontal. The vertical grain allows the sound waves to travel four
times faster down the grain which results in less decay and over ring.
The
K-1000 drums are very clean sounding drums which have
a good dynamic range and tone. The drums do not change character from low to
high volume and give a full crisp sound.
Specialising in carpentry and drumming from an early age. Keith Davidson
Keough bought
his first custom drum kit at the age of 17. Since then he has been
specialising in repairing, restoring and building drums. Working in
carpentry until 2001 he then moved to Manchester and worked in Moolah
Rouge studios where many drummers would come to have their drums
repaired. As word spread about Keith's repair work and custom drums he
felt it was time to brand his products. |
